It is the constant goal of
BBT's ministry to strengthen individuals, not only as children or teens,
but also as adults. Stronger individuals will build stronger familes,
and stronger families will build a stronger church. Each of the following
ministries offer adults the joy of growing in the Lord and serving Him.
| Sunday
School |
Various
adult classes are available which address the specific needs
of different age groups from a Biblical perspective. Adults
are taught and discipled through the Sunday School meetings
to prepare them for the unique challenges which they face. All
classes meet at 9:30 am.

| Women's
Ministry |
Our
ladies meet at least once a month for food, fellowship, and
growing together, as well as to help with planning of special
church activities. The ladies are able to encourage one
another, share burdens, and lift spirits. Some special
meetings are all-day or all-night activities. This vital
ministry helps to keep our ladies of all backgrounds firmly
committed to their work in the ministry of our church.
For more information about the Ladies Group, contact Mary
Loyd.

| Men's
Ministry |
The
purpose of our Men's Ministry is to provide support, edification,
and the opportunity to be accountable for their spiritual growth
under the authority of the Holy Scriptures and accountable to
Bedford Baptist Temple. The platform created from this ministry
is used by men to influence their families, employers, co-workers,
friends, and neighbors for Christ. For more information about
the Men's Ministry, contact Randy
Loyd.

| Seniors
Meetings |
The
Senior citizens of BBT meet on the first Wednesday of each month
for a special breakfast fellowship. More than just enjoying
one another's company, they are able to "bear...one another's
burdens" and plan special road trips. These trips
take place 3-4 times each year. This is a key ministry
for our folks who have "been around the block" a few
times.
|
| Athletics |
Our
adults participate in local area athletic leagues. This
outreach ministry helps to encourage people to get involved
with the church and its ministry. We play in various leagues,
including men's softball, co-ed softball, and men's basketball.

| The
Prayer Chain |
This
is a group of our ladies who are dedicated to being prayer warriors,
taking the needs of our people to the Lord in prayer. When anyone
in the church desires special prayer, a member of The Prayer
Chain can be contacted. After that, phone calls will be
made until EVERY member of the chain has been contacted. Instead
of one person praying for you, suddenly there are scores of
ladies approaching the throne of grace on your behalf!
For more information about The Prayer Chain, contact Mary
Loyd.

| Fellowships |
We
have various fellowships throughout the year, usually after
the Sunday evening worship service. These fellowships may
include bridal or baby showers, holiday fellowships, going-away
parties, or just a time to get together and play volleyball. We
also have annual church picnics on the weekends of Memorial
Day and Labor Day.

| Service
Opportunities |
Part
of our ministry TO adults is providing them
with the opportunity to take part IN various
ministries of our church. Singing in the choir, working
in BBT AWANA's, coming out for visitation, teaching Sunday School,
& driving in the bus ministry name only some of the service
opportunities available for adults.
For more information about service, contact Pastor_Finch.
